I've always wanted perfect teeth and after a few years of wearing a brace and the effects of eating and drinking, I noticed my teeth were starting to become less attractive and discoloured. I felt like others were continually staring at my teeth due to the yellowish stain on them which made my confidence plummet. That was the step I needed to encourage me to whiten my teeth.

I was aware that home teeth whitening had become increasingly popular when it came to cosmetic dental procedures. I decided to go down the route of whitening my teeth at home rather than a dentist for two simple reasons: it's a lot cheaper and its convenient as I can do it in my own time.
With the diverse selection of teeth whitening products on the market today, I found it difficult to decide which type of kit to purchase and what company to buy it from. There was also the decision of which whitening procedure I would feel most comfortable using with a choice of whitening toothpaste, whitening strips or whitening kits with mouth trays. After much research on the internet I came across a whitening kit that is long-lasting and easily applied using mouth trays that mould to the teeth perfectly.
Before I decided to look into home teeth whitening products I was well aware that many of the products don't always offer value for money. Although there are a significant amount of teeth whitening products on the market, I was dubious as to which product would actually work for a reasonable price. This was a factor that influenced my decision to purchase the kit I did. While the price alone was a price deal, I found the kit provided a sufficient amount of gel needed to continually whiten my teeth on a regular basis, a common problem I found when reading reviews from others who had used other teeth whitening kits.
I used the kit six months ago and after the first application I saw an instant improvement. Since I have used the kit, my teeth have stayed visibly whiter. However, I have performed periodic touch ups with a teeth whitening pen, in between whitening in order to keep my teeth at the maximum brightness. I would recommend using the kit up to eight times in order to see maximum results that can last up to 18 months. Prior to using the kit, I was worried I would experience pain after using the kit but was pleasantly surprised as I only felt a slight tingle from the gel. After using the kit I have highly recommended the use of home teeth whitening kits to my sceptical friends and family who have had reservations about home cosmetic dentistry in the past. From my experience of using a home teeth whitening kit, I will definitely be purchasing another again when the time is needed.
